Most “natural” soap isn’t

Big brands hide cheap fillers, synthetic fragrance, and palm oil behind green labels. Here's what they don't want you to know.

Hidden palm Oil:

Drives deforestation. We use sustainable oils instead.

Fragrance = chemicals:

One word covers hundreds of synthetic chemicals

Strips Your Skin:

Synthetics that strip your skin and leave it dry

Two stacked pink rectangular soap bars.

Most Bars Are Detergent:

They’re made to cut grease, not care for your skin

Rushed & Chemical Cured:

Real soap cures for weeks. Factory bars use shortcuts

Fake “Moisturizing”:

They add silicones so you feel slippery

pennyB’s vs. Big Box & Greenwashed “Natural”

Honey-based formula that locks in moisture

No palm oil, ever
Hand-poured in small batches
Real family. Real ingredients.
Actually works on sensitive skin

Big Box "Natural" Brands

Detergent bars that dry you out
Hidden palm oil derivatives
Mass-produced in factories

Fake ingredients and chemicals

"Gentle" claims with zero follow-through

Why people keep coming back

"I've tried every 'natural' soap at Whole Foods and they all dried me out. This is the first one that actually leaves my skin soft. The honey makes such a difference."

Lisa M.

"My daughter has eczema and we've been through everything. pennyB's unscented bar is the only one that doesn't make her flare up. We're never switching back."
Jordan T.
"I buy these as teacher gifts every year now. They smell incredible, the packaging is beautiful, and people actually remember them. Way better than a gift card."
Sarah K.
"I'm a nurse so I wash my hands constantly. Most soap destroys them. Golden Hour is the only bar that keeps my hands from cracking. I keep one at home and one in my locker."
Miguel R.
"Finally found soap my husband will actually use. He's picky about 'girly' scents but Mint & Meadow won him over. Now he asks me to reorder before we run out."
Amanda L.

What Goes Into Every Bar

Raw Honey

Natural antibacterial. Draws moisture into your skin and keeps it there.

Shea + Cocoa Butter

Rich, nourishing fats that protect and soften without grease.

Botanical Oils
Natural antibacterial. Draws moisture into your skin and keeps it there.
What's NOT in our bars:

Palm oil. Parabens. Phthalates. Synthetic fragrance. Fillers. Ever.

We Make Soap the Way It Should Be Made

We didn't set out to start a soap company. We set out to make something honest that our family could use, and that other families might trust enough to bring into their homes.

Every bar we pour is named after Penny Blake, our daughter.
What began as small batches in our kitchen has grown into something bigger than we imagined, but the mission hasn't changed: create soap with ingredients we'd use on our own kids, fund Penny's future, and build something rooted in our community.
We source our honey locally. We hand-pour every batch. We cure each bar for weeks because rushing it means compromising it. This isn't a side hustle or a lifestyle brand, it's how we're building a life for our family, one bar at a time.
